Peter Marley has been in the professional music business for more than forty years and has traveled throughout North America with rock, country, folk and jazz groups. He also has experience with local and national radio and television, as well as recording experience with many varied artists. He enjoys teaching a great deal and hopes to pass on his knowledge of different styles of music to his students.

Spider’s back! Discovery Music’s first guitar teacher (2002 – 2007) is back after spending the last two years touring and performing across North America, with several artists including Tim Hus, and opening for Corb Lund. He has been much in demand since his return to Calgary as a recording artist, for his distinctive rockabilly/bluegrass upright slap bass style of playing. Spider has a broad and eclectic range of expertise that includes: traditional country, classic rock, bluegrass, rockabilly, alternative and current popular music. His teaching style has been described as ‘organic osmosis’, and is appreciated by beginners, experienced amateurs, and working professionals alike.

Julian Kerr is a professional musician who has played piano, bass, and guitar for over 30 years. Julian has played with such notables as the Original Cast (One Tin Soldier & Mr. Monday – gold record hits) also with Gay Delorme, Bo Diddley, as well as several Calgary bands. Veteran of many recording sessions with various artists, Julian is grateful for the knowledge and experience gained from playing with so many talented musicians. Julian’s been teaching for the past 10 years; and his students enjoy developing their skills with his gentle humor and support.
